Drawing from life. If you recognize this ostrich and you know me, you understand why I called it what I called it. 😉

Back to some more of Loubet’s work. I was particularly attracted to how graphic and strong this set of drawings was. I’m learning a tremendous amount about Loubet’s different styles from this project, I’m happy.
Nyoro nyoro nyoro nyoro nyoooooo~
I wasn’t happy with yesterday’s sketch, but today’s was even worse. *shrug* Just not feeling it today for some reason. I think the pressure of having to sit, eat, and sketch in an hour window sometimes just doesn’t work so well when there are outside forces trying to make demands of that time.
Hey look, I used a pencil!
A very loose interpretation of the first two monsters you encounter in Faxanadu.

Another food study. As you can see, I was fairly amused by the ambiguity of the images. The top right image was another of Denis Loubet’s from the Ultima game manuals. I did his version last so I could have more of my own feel on the first two.
I’d been thinking about drawing this guy for a while. I imagine he spends most of his time being rather bored. Actually, I imagine he spends most of his time making up dirty limericks, but that’s another drawing. 😛
Another image entirely from my head, as requested. These drawings usually start out as one idea then become something else entirely by the time I finish. No references used.
In response to yesterday’s poll, something entirely original. Caffeinated Octopus.
